MATE and IUH Vietnam sign cooperation agreement

The Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) and the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) signed a cooperation agreement in March 2024. The ceremony took place at the MATE Buda Campus.

The relationship between IUH and MATE is not a new venture. Several staff and leaders of the Institute of Food Science and Technology have visited our Vietnamese partner and many of them have also attended training courses at our university. A number of former PhD students who graduated in our programme from Vietnam are now in positions of research or even of leading positions there.

The main purpose of the current visit was to sign a cooperation agreement and to explore areas where relations between the two higher education institutions could be even closer in the future. Following the ceremony, guided laboratory visits were also organised.
